Using Ringzi

Ringzi creates ringtones, alert tones and wallpapers from the descriptions you write, and from audio you record or upload. By using Ringzi you agree to these terms. Ringzi is currently an early product, so features may change.

Free Ringzis and Ringzi Unlimited

New accounts receive 2 free AI Ringzis, including any Ringzi made before signing up. Each new version counts as a creation. Ringzi Unlimited ($4.99/month or $39.99/year) gives AI ringtone and alert tone creation for personal use, subject to our fair-use policy (up to 100 generations per billing month). You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period. Previously purchased AI Credits keep working. Playing, downloading and sharing Ringzis you already made is always free.

Payments and refunds

Credit purchases are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. If an AI generation fails and you receive no usable sound, the AI Credit is returned automatically. Unused purchased AI Credits can be refunded on request; credits already spent on delivered sounds are not refundable.

Your sounds

You may use the sounds you create for personal use, including setting them on your own devices and sharing them with friends. Contact us before using a Ringzi commercially or in any broadcast, advertising or published work.

Audio you record or upload

You keep ownership of anything you record or upload. By uploading or recording audio (or any other content) on Ringzi, you confirm that you own it or have all the rights, licences, consents and permissions needed to upload it and use it through Ringzi. Only upload content you have permission to use.

You're responsible for what you upload and for making sure your use doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights. Uploading something to Ringzi doesn't give you any rights to third-party content you didn't already have, and Ringzi doesn't grant a licence to commercially released music or other copyrighted material just because the service lets you upload or process a file. Ringzi doesn't check who owns each upload.

You give Ringzi the limited rights needed to host, process, modify, convert, trim, mix and otherwise handle your content, only as needed to provide the Ringzi service to you. Your recordings, uploads and the Ringzis made from them are private to your account unless you choose to share them. We may remove or disable access to content we reasonably believe infringes someone's rights, or when we receive a proper infringement complaint, and we may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly infringe.

What isn't allowed

Don't ask Ringzi to reproduce commercial songs or imitate a real person's voice, and don't use Ringzi to create hateful, harassing, sexual, deceptive or otherwise unlawful audio. We may remove content and stop providing access if these terms are broken.

Availability

Ringzi is provided as is. We can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that every generated Ringzi will meet your taste. Ringzi cannot change your phone's ringtone or notification sound for you — your device does that step.
