Describe what you want and Ringzi creates it, or pick a sound from the Library and turn it into your ringtone.

You can try Ringzi free. Every new account gets:

• 1 free custom AI ringtone
• 5 free Library Credits

Your free AI creation lets you create one completely custom ringtone.

Your 5 Library Credits let you use five sounds already available in the Ringzi Sound Library.

Library Credits are used for sounds that already exist in the Ringzi Sound Library.

1 Library Credit = 1 Library ringtone. Every new account receives 5 free Library Credits.

Library Credits cannot be purchased. If you want more, invite a friend to Ringzi. When they create an account, you'll receive another 5 Library Credits.

AI Credits are used to create completely new custom sounds with Ringzi AI. For example:

“A huge V8 engine rev followed by someone shouting Dave, answer your phone!”

or “An epic 80s-style rock ringtone for Sarah.”

Your first custom AI creation is free. After that, you'll need AI Credits to create more custom AI sounds.

The Sound Library contains ready-made sounds you can preview and use immediately.

AI creation lets you describe something completely unique and have Ringzi create it for you.

Library sounds use Library Credits. Custom AI sounds use your free AI creation or AI Credits.

Yes. You can browse and preview sounds in the Ringzi Sound Library without using a credit.

A Library Credit is only used when that sound is successfully added to My Ringzis.

Invite a friend to Ringzi.

When your friend creates an account using your referral link, you'll receive 5 additional Library Credits.

Your friend also gets the normal new-account offer of 5 Library Credits and their first custom AI creation free.

No. Library Credits aren't sold.

You receive 5 when you join Ringzi and can earn another 5 each time a friend you invite creates an account.

Sign in to your Ringzi account and go to Invite Friends.

Copy your personal referral link and send it by text, Messenger, WhatsApp, email or any other sharing method available on your device.

When your friend creates their account through your link, you'll automatically receive 5 more Library Credits.

Yes. Once you've added or created a Ringzi, you can download or share the audio with friends.

The person receiving it can then save and install the ringtone on their own phone.

Ringzi shows the installation steps for your phone right after your ringtone is ready — tap How to install on the result screen.

Newer iPhones (iOS 26 or later)

1. Open your Ringzi in Files
2. Press and hold the file and tap Share
3. Tap “Use as Ringtone”

Older iPhones (GarageBand method)

1. Download your Ringzi audio file to your iPhone
2. Open GarageBand
3. Import your Ringzi into a GarageBand project
4. Choose Share
5. Select Ringtone
6. Export the ringtone
7. Select “Use sound as…”, or choose the new ringtone in your iPhone ringtone settings

Not every iOS version supports the same method, so use the steps that match your iPhone. Ringzi can't change your phone's ringtone for you.

Download your Ringzi to your phone, then on most Android phones:

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Sound & vibration
3. Select Phone ringtone
4. Choose the option to add or select a ringtone from the device
5. Select the downloaded Ringzi

The exact wording varies between Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and other Android phones — for example Samsung uses “Sounds and vibration” and Pixel uses “My Sounds”.

Yes. Both iPhone and Android support assigning different ringtones to individual contacts.

So you can create a Ringzi just for your partner, boss, best mate, Mum, Dad or anyone else and hear that sound when they call.

Yes. Include the person's name and what you'd like said in the AI description. For example:

“Heavy rock guitar followed by a voice shouting, Rob, your phone is ringing!”

Ringzi will use the description to create the custom sound.

Anything suitable for a short sound or ringtone. Examples include:

• Engines
• Animals
• Funny sounds
• Voices
• Original music-style sounds
• Cinematic intros
• Retro sounds
• Sports sounds
• Alarms
• Inside jokes
• Combinations of sounds and voices

The more clearly you describe what you want, the better Ringzi can understand the idea.

Ringzi is designed for original creations.

Please don't ask Ringzi to copy copyrighted recordings or reproduce a particular artist's song or voice. Instead, describe the general sound you want, such as:

• “Upbeat 80s rock”
• “Retro disco”
• “Heavy metal guitar”
• “Cinematic orchestral”

This depends on your phone and operating system.

Some devices let you assign custom audio to calls, contacts, messages, alarms and other notifications. Available options vary by device and operating-system version.

Sign in and go to My Ringzis to see the ringtones added or created with your account.

Available credits stay on your Ringzi account unless otherwise stated when they are issued.

You don't lose a credit for an unsuccessful creation.

Credits are only deducted once your Ringzi has been added or created successfully, and you can simply retry.

Yes — where the delete option is available in My Ringzis, you can remove Ringzis you no longer want.

Deleting a completed Ringzi does not return the credit used for it.

Yes. You can browse the Sound Library or create custom AI Ringzis from a supported desktop browser.

The finished ringtone normally needs to be moved to your phone to install and use it — on desktop you can scan the QR code on the result screen to open it on your phone. For the simplest experience, use Ringzi directly from your phone.
