How to Make a Custom Ringtone on Android

To make a custom ringtone on Android, create or trim a short audio file (MP3 works on every Android phone), save it to your phone, then pick it in Settings under your phone ringtone. Android doesn't need any special ringtone format.
Android makes custom ringtones easy
Unlike iPhone, Android accepts ordinary audio files as ringtones. If you can save an MP3 to your phone, you can use it.
Keep it short and punchy. Your phone loops the ringtone, so a clear 8–20 second clip is better than a whole song.
